The Team

Hadley Wuertz

Hadley is the mom of three awesome girls: Bennet (13), Hero (10), & Temperance (7). She brings a unique mix of professional experience both in education as well as health & wellness. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand and completed post-graduate courses in Montessori Education. She has worked in both public and private education settings for over ten years. Hadley’s love of fitness began at a young age and has continued throughout her life. She coached Cross Country, track, and basketball before falling in love with CrossFit. She has been a CrossFit coach since 2018 and has her L1, L2, Burgener Strength and CrossFit Kids certification. In August 2018, Hadley became a CrossFit coach. One of her greatest professional joys has been the creation and growth of the CrossFit Youth and Longevity Program. These programs allow Anthem to serve members from age 3 to 103. Hadley has lived all over the country and in South Korea, New Zealand, and Australia, but Stillwater is the first place that has felt like home. And although she is still acclimating to the winters, she has fallen in love with the Stillwater community and the magic of raising her girls here with her husband, Adam.

Eric Chapman

Meet Anthem’s Co-Founder, Eric Chapman. Eric is a father, husband, and personal health advocate who is passionate about all things fitness with a love for Olympic weightlifting. If you ask him about his experience, he says, “I’m just an old guy who works out as a hobby.” In our opinion, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Eric has quite the resume, he founded and ran Hastings Strength & Conditioning (CrossFit HSC) for several years before moving to Stillwater in 2021. Though he would likely never let on, he is not lacking in credentials or experience. He has his CrossFit Level 1 & 2, USA Weightlifting Level 1 & 2, and his rowing certification. He has worked with everyone from the person just getting into fitness to the college athlete/military. He has enjoyed raising his children in the strength & conditioning world and continues to advocate for family fitness and nutrition. Eric has and continues to be integral in setting the vision of Anthem and we are so lucky to have him!

Kami Griffith

CoACH//Client Success Manager//Nutrition Coach

With over a decade of experience working with athletes to reach their fullest potential, Kami learned how beneficial it is to have a healthy relationship with nutrition. She first started as a personal trainer at Gold’s Gym in Woodbury, where she met her husband John, competed in a NPC body building show in 2011, and then went on to become a CrossFit Level 2 coach. She has coached at various gyms around the country working with young adults to Games athletes and everyone in between. She was a Regional competitor herself, and that’s where she finally figured out that food is our medicine and she truly has a passion for helping people reach their optimal health, not only in the gym, but in their everyday lives. One of her favorite quotes and reminders is from the one and only Jack Lalaane, “Exercise is King. Nutrition is Queen. Put them together and you’ve got a kingdom.”
Outside of the gym, Kami enjoys spending time with her friends, traveling, and quality time with her family. Her and John have three beautiful children, Bennett, Brooks and Ainsley.

Meet Anthem coach, Justin: Husband. Double girl-dad.

Justin grew up in the Stillwater area and was involved in athletics most of his juvenile life. He also recreationally played adult men’s softball and basketball until kids sports took over their lives.  His current profession is in local law enforcement and has been since April 2005. Justin held several certificates and instructed 100+ officers annually over 8 years in many training areas including firearms and defensive tactics. His personal CrossFit journey started with an intro class with his wife on her birthday in February 2014; they were both immediately hooked.  He has a CrossFit L1, USA Weightligting L1, and Burgener Strength L1. He enjoys group fitness, finding inspiration through others and being able to motivate someone else. He finds happiness in helping people achieve their goals and he’s excited to pursue his passion for coaching at Anthem!

Favorite lift: clean

Favorite WOD: Murph, hands down

Least favorite movement: devil’s press

Megan Reid

Meet Megan!
Megan has been a life-long athlete, participating in softball, lacrosse, and Nordic Skiing. She began CrossFit a few years ago when she set out to find a new challenge. She quickly fell in love with the sport and has worked hard to get stronger, fitter, and more resilient. She has a CrossFit L1 certification. She loves being in the gym, especially when the workout has a heavy barbell.
Megan is kind, caring, and tough (in the best way) we are so lucky to have her at Anthem!
